Congress president Mallikarjun Kharag has resurrected a massive organizational resurrection at the party. Veteran leaders Deepak Babaria and Mohan Prakash and two new general secretaries and nine in -charge have been appointed, six general secretaries and in -charge have been replaced. Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel has been made the general secretary of Punjab. At the same time, former general secretary BK Hariprasad has been appointed as Haryana.

The statement issued by KC Venugopal, general secretary of the party’s organization, said that MP Syed Narris Hussein was appointed as the general secretary in charge of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. Krishna Allavarau has been appointed as Bihar, Rajni Patel Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh and Harish Chowdhury in Madhya Pradesh. Elections will be held in Bihar next year. Ajay Kumar Lallu has been in charge of Odisha, K Raju, Jharkhand, Meenakshi Natarajan, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry’s Telangana and Girish Chodkar.

Similarly, Shankar Shankar has been tattooed in charge of Manipur, Tripura, Sikkim and Nagaland. Deepak Babaria, Mohan Prakash, Bharat Singh Solaki, Rajiv Shukla, Ajay Kumar and Devendra Yadav have been removed from the post of general secretary and in -charge.
