One of the new features of Aztec Stadium for the 20226 World Cup is the hybrid field, updated locker room, elevator and hospitality zones.

Hospitality zones were also a requirement. Old Stadium had a small discount area outside the venue, but there was no food court inside and fans were forced to buy from the seller around the seating area.

Among the other reforms, the owner of the stadium also announced a new pressure box zone, advanced restrome, 200-UN CCTV surveillance system and a new sound system.

Basically, a shopping center and hotel was planned for a large renovation, but the residence of Santa Arsula, a popular neighborhood in the south of the capital, opposed them.
