Many times baby milk bottles are not properly sterilized or cleaned. As a result, the child suffers from stomach ailments and various physical problems. Especially the nipple of the bottle gets more dust and germs. So it is very important to clean the baby’s milk bottle properly.
Keep hands clean
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before cleaning the bottle. Cleaning a baby’s bottle with unclean hands will transfer germs from the hands to the bottle.
Keep each part of the bottle separate
Open and separate each part of the bottle. Then sterilize and clean each part of the bottle separately. You can clean every part of the bottle by scrubbing it with a clean soft brush. Wash off the soap The soap you use for cleaning the bottle should not stick to any part of the bottle or the smell of soap should not remain in the bottle. So wash every part of the bottle very well.
Sterilize
Take a large saucepan with enough water and put it on gas. Add all parts of the bottle to it. When the water starts to boil, boil for about five minutes. Turn off the heat and let the water cool naturally. Then lift the bottle parts out of the water. This method must be adopted for disinfection. You can also use an electric steam sterilizer if you prefer. After sterilizing the bottle, place each part of the bottle on a clean dry towel to air dry thoroughly.
Clean the bottle frequently
The bottle should be washed thoroughly immediately after each feeding of the baby. Because harmful microorganisms accumulate on the bottle. These bacteria and viruses can cause vomiting and diarrhea in your baby. Therefore, bottles must be sterilized before and after feeding a baby in a bottle. Baby bottles should always be cleaned in lukewarm water.
