Keep hands clean

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before cleaning the bottle. Cleaning a baby’s bottle with unclean hands will transfer germs from the hands to the bottle.

Keep each part of the bottle separate

Open and separate each part of the bottle. Then sterilize and clean each part of the bottle separately. You can clean every part of the bottle by scrubbing it with a clean soft brush. You can also use an electric steam sterilizer if you prefer. After sterilizing the bottle, place each part of the bottle on a clean dry towel to air dry thoroughly.

Clean the bottle frequently

The bottle should be washed thoroughly immediately after each feeding of the baby. Because harmful microorganisms accumulate on the bottle. These bacteria and viruses can cause vomiting and diarrhea in your baby. Therefore, bottles must be sterilized before and after feeding a baby in a bottle. Baby bottles should always be cleaned in lukewarm water.
