Paris Paralympic 2024 Simran Sharma Win Bronze Medal on Women’s 200m T12 Event

In Paris Paralympics 2024, Simran Sharma gave India the 28th medal. Simran Women won 200 meter T12 tracks and bronze medal in the field. India won 6 gold, 9 silver and 14 bronze medals so far. Track and Field Athlete’s Bronze Medal.

Simran earned third with a new personal best time of 24.75 seconds. Cuba Omara Durand Elias won the gold medal with 20..62 seconds, and Venezuela’s Alejandra Paola Pearage Lopez won the Sylhet medal with 21.5 seconds.

This is India’s 16th bronze medal in para athletics. Overall, India has won 20 medals so far in the ongoing season. The current world champion Simran is the coach of her husband Gazendra Singh, who is working at the Army Service Corps. He received training at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi. Paralympic games have T12 categories for vision impaired athletes.
