Regular bra vs push-up bra
In the case of basic regular bras, the focus is on fabric material and comfort. That can be padded or non-padded. They are usually very comfortable, so can be worn for long periods of time. They are used by women of all ages starting from their teenage years. It does not enhance cleavage or breast shape. Basic bras are the best option with regular kameez, t-shirts and for wearing at home.
And push-up bras enhance the size of the breasts by properly supporting them. Body appearance is perfect if push-up bra is worn with saree, gown or western outfit. They can be padded or double padded. Push-up bras lift the breast tissue properly, so the breasts look round and firm. Then you understand that along with regular bras, push-up bras for special occasions or specific outfits must be kept in your collection.
Why wear a push-up bra?
- Due to the padded cups, the breast gets properly supported and reduces back pain
- Gives perfect shape to saggy breasts
- Brings balance to breast shape
- Present yourself confidently in any outfit
Size Measurements
1) To determine band size or girth, take a tape measure around the body just below the breast and measure in inches. Care should be taken to ensure that the ribbon is parallel, i.e. neither hanging down nor rising up. Can’t be held tight.
2) If your under bust size is an even number then you add 4 to it, if your under bust size is an odd number then you add 5 to it. Suppose your under bust size is 29, then you add 5 to this. Then your band size is 29+5=34. Again, if the size is 30 then you add 4 to it. Then your band size is 30+4=34.
3) To know the cup size, take the measurement of the swollen part of the breast. Measure your upper bust with a measuring tape. Now subtract the band size from this size. That is, bust size is 35 inches and band size is 32 inches. That means bra size will be 32C (35-32). (Subtraction 1 means A, 2 means B, 3 means C, 4 means D, 5 means E etc.). That is, if the difference is 1, cup size A, if 2, B should be counted like this.
4) Bra sizes are 30AA, 32AA, 34AA, AA being the smallest cup size. If the difference between bust size and band size is less than 1 inch, you should select AA cup size.
Hopefully, there is no more confusion about bra size selection. Now let’s see the features of two push-up bras, so that you can also select the perfect inner wear.
