The director of the Environment Monitoring and Research Centers under the Mount Kamolangma Environment and the Chinese Academy says that the Mount Everest region was not affected by the earthquake and no snowfall or geological change was seen. “It shows the safe conditions needed to re -open this beautiful area,” Vaciang told the official news agency Sinhuua.
