Google Credit and Debit Card, WhatsApp, UPI pays for Bill Payment Fees for Charges

About 17 billion UPI paid in the country in January this year. The total value of this payment was about Tk 23.48 lakh crore. It increased by about one percent compared to December last year. The transaction reached about 16.73 billion through UPI in December. In December, the total value of the transaction through UPI was about Tk 23.25 lakh crore. In the previous month, the number was about Tk 21.55 lakh crore. In December, the average value of this transaction per day was about 74,990 crore rupees.

Last year, the NPCI UPI One World Wallet Service launched on-resident Indians (NRI) and international travelers visiting the country. It will provide UPI access facilities through UPI access to those who do not have Indian bank account. It has started under the Service Reserve Bank of India (RBI) through NPCI IDFC First Bank and Transcorp International Limited. The NPCI said that visitors to the country would be able to safely pay the merchants, including UPI One World Wallet. For this, a prepaid payment of foreign travelers and NRI must be downloaded in the Instrument-UPI app.
