As Telangana is ready to host the 72th version of Miss World from May 4 to 31The event is expected to set up the state on a worldwide tourism map. In an exclusive interview with Smitharth Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary of Youth Progress, Tourism and Culture Smart Siddharta Siddharth Singh Singh shared insights on the significance of the event, and its powerful Heritage Heritage in favor of displaying it and the hospitality to the world.
How did the conversation begin about coming to Miss World 2025 Telangana?
About a month ago, the Miss World Team reached us through email. From the Miss World Organization, Steve Douglas Morley, who is also part of the founding family, came to us personally. The discouns went through different fiji and it became clear from the beginning that they were deeply committed to promoting the position. I welcomed this proposal and the reason for being employed in multiple discusions is that I see it as a gold alternative to promote Telangana tourism. Six countries participated and cover the event of more than 5 media partners for 20 days, providing an obsolete platform to display the Heritage and attractions of our state.
How are you planning to use this opportunity to promote Telangana tourism?
We have incredible destinations that are relatively uninterested. For example, Ramappa Temple, YaddagirThe Kawal Tiger Reserve and the Amarabad Tiger Reserve, all these sites give different experiences from tourism to Eco-Tourism. However, they were not widely marketed. My goal during this one -month long event is the rich cultural tapestry package and presenting, including cooking, handlooms and destinations. Another important aspect is to ensure that the spotlight is only in Hyderabad but also in other parts of Telangana. We are also in talks with the India train at the Railway Bhand during the event, making the participants easier to explore different parts of the state.

What themes are you focusing on Telangana’s promotion?
We are working on themetic promotions that adjust to Telangana’s energy. For example, we have aimed at highlighting rights as a worldwide health care center in Hyderabad, one of the top tourist tourist destinations in the country. We are correcting the techniques for the location of Telangana on how the Indian Premier League (IPL) captures the public imagination. In addition, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) in Hyderabad is considered one of the best airports in the world. Throughout the whole event, we will use it as a promotional equipment, highlighting the intimacy, how certain tourist spots are only one hour or two from the airport, thus trusting internal visitors.
What security measures are being implemented for the event?
A priority of protection. We are ensuring a dedicated tourism ecosystem, including establishing a dedicated tourist police force. When we first met the Miss World team, we invited them to visit the Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Center in Hyderabad. We have shown our surveillance and protection systems, which made them greatly about the quality of protection here.
What kind of economic impact are you forecast from the event?
It is premature to assume the incentive of the right economy, but I can confidently say that the hospitality sector will see a lot of benefits, hotels, public transport and tourism services, though this event will be more than a direct rebuilt generator, long -term impact than the long -term impact. With the participants of 5 countries, the global exposure will open the door for future tourism and investment. We’re working with hotels and logistic partners to ensure that they present their best services because they host an arrival of international guests.
What is the financial model of Telangana investment in the event?
Generally, the Miss World Organization works on a 50-50 partnership model with the host state. We are still in the display of the investment issues and subtle details are being implemented.
Telangana gained extreme summer experience in May. How are you planning to handle the event in high temperatures?
We have informed our concerns about the rising temperature in May. However, the Miss World Team is FIRM on these dates because of their own schedule and commercial promises. It was said that many events will be television in controlled environment and we are discussing the schedule of most outdoor activities in events to reduce heat. Once the venue is finalized, Telangana will implement the measures to ensure comfort for tourist participants and visitors.
Is there any cooperation between Telangana craftsmen and pages?
Absolutely We invite top artisans across the state to show our rich cultural heritage. We are probably planning to set up a dedicated platform in Shilparam among other places, where international visitors can see a mega art carnival featured in Talangana.
Traffic traffic is already an important problem in the main parts of the city. How will the event be managed to reduce obstacles?
A joint attempt to handle the city traffic. Fortunately, May a month when educational institutions are closed and IT professionals often have flexible work time. We expect that these information will help reduce traffic congestion. The state government is coordinating throughout this event to ensure smooth transportation supplies.
