International Women’s Day: Meet three female entrepreneurs in Visakhapatnam who is giving new definition of success

Farzana Begum fits with the fab every morning, her hijab is shaking in a neat place, it is a symbol of her identity. “My hijab is just a part of me as my power. It doesn’t limit me; it empower me,” he says. In a case where women are often recognized, he stands taller. “Fitness for everyone, without considering what you wear. The energy comes from the inside,” he adds.

When Farzana Begum lost her mother in the 21st, she realized how ten women take a backset in health families. Latha Pudi is giving a new definition of cocoa cultivation with his sustainable initiative, Cocobezz. He returned to his agricultural field in the corporate world year after year and converted a traditional pursuing practice into a climate-smart initiative in Andhra Pradesh. As the final candidate in the NSRSL Women’s Startup Entertainership program in IIM Bangalore, Latha is the pioneer of environment-friendly coco farming when adding prices to the regional box.

Established in 2021, Cocoabs first produces processing, cocoa nos, cocoa powder, cocoa butter, cocoa butter, taste cocoa nbs and vegan colleges after harvest. Recognizing the growing demand for high quality cocoa, he recently expanded its tree planting with 1,500 new saplings ready to mature in the next three years. Today, its 2,000-tree cocoa farms sequester about 20 metric tons of carbon annually.

What distinguishes cocoaabuz is its fruit-delicious cocoa beans, which is a specialty of high demand. “The climate situation in Andhra Pradesh is suitable for increasing cocoa. Here, we get a crop cycle from April to July,” said Latha. In order to maintain the quality, Latha plans to integrate digital grading and benchmarking technologies. His attempt has achieved Alridy Trade – Cocoabuzjjjjj’s deal with Mondelies, a major Global player in the chocolate industry.

Beyond cocoa, Latha has focused on the support farms who have to wait four to five years before earning earning cocoa trees. He is developing nutritious, plant-based edible products that give the maximum return for producers. In June 2024, its startup was selected for the Google’s Digipivot program, the six -month digital marketing training initiative experience for collecting the Indian School of Business, the Hindian scola.

In Andhra Pradesh, where very few farmers entered the value added because of the concerns about agriculture and the effectiveness of agriculture for future generations, Latha sees an opportunity. With 100% sales-out rate of cocobezz, he is proved that sustainable farming can be protected. To ensure year-long productivity, he varied in off-seizen crops like peanuts, white sesame and coconut to produce cold.

“We are also using soil sensors to monitor moisture, pH and nutrients, including automation to detect farm operations and pest detection,” added latha. Even agricultural waste is rebuilt – cocoa pod shells are compost and mulch.
